Kalogon’s Technology
Advanced Pressure Management System:
Featuring strategically placed air cells, APMS delivers targeted pressure relief to key areas of a patient’s body with each air cell working in harmony to ensure revascularization of tissue and optimal support.
Found in: Orbiter Med, Orbiter Classic, & our DoD prototype

Kalogon App
Allows for the user or clinician to set lifestyle and prescribe presets for consumer products.
Found in: Orbiter Med, Orbiter Classic, Booster by Kalogon, and Star Sentinel powered by Kalogon.
Ambient Sensing System
Our Ambient Sensing System (ASS) accounts for ambient temperature and pressure changes due to environment, such as altitude and weather conditions and adjusts the air-cells accordingly to maintain presets.
Found in: Orbiter Med, Orbiter Classic, Booster by Kalogon, Star Sentinel powered by Kalogon, and our DoD prototype.
Adaptive Reactive Customization
Our Adaptive Reactive Customizations (ARC) allows the cushion to react to the users movements to maintain preset pressure levels in each of the air cells. This provides real-time adaptation to create a custom environment to maintain blood flow.
Found in: Orbiter Med and Orbiter Classic

Our Tech Approach
Our team is focused on empathy-driven design meaning we begin by talking with the customer to find a solution to a problem they are facing, and don’t develop just what we think someone needs. We use rapid prototyping to test user needs along the way, gathering and implementing feedback throughout the design process.

DoD specific APMS
Enhanced Aircrew Endurance & Mission Readiness: Reduced fatigue, improved circulation, and maintaining focus during extended missions, benefiting platforms like the B-1, B-2, B-52, C-17, KC-135, ACES II ejection seat equipped airframes, nuclear operations, and ground vehicles.
Operational & Sustainment Efficiencies: Easy to integrate and maintain, reduced logistical burdens on aircrew, maintainers, and equipment teams.
Cost Savings & Injury Prevention: Prevents chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and pressure-related conditions, reducing long-term healthcare costs.
