Verro is designed for users with a relatively stable clinical presentation or posture who require a high level of positioning support.

 

How is Verro constructed?

Verro is available in two versions: Verro Variable-Density Lattice and Verro Dual-Density Foam. Verro Variable-Density Lattice is printed with varied material firmness to provide locally customized support and relief. Verro Dual-Density Foam features a cushion base milled from a dense foam block and overlaid with a soft foam topper.

What is the difference between Verro Lattice and Verro Foam?

Verro Variable-Density Lattice is printed with varied material firmness, allowing the cushion to be softer where relief is needed and firmer where support is needed. Its hydrophobic and airflow-friendly construction also provides microclimate and cleaning advantages.

Verro Dual-Density Foam features a cushion base milled from a dense foam block and overlaid with a soft foam topper. It uses familiar, well-known materials in a lightweight form factor and remains field-modifiable for teams that may need to make adjustments after delivery.

What makes Variable-Density Lattice different from other 3D-printed cushions?

Verro Variable-Density Lattice can incorporate different densities throughout the seated surface based on the individual user’s body and positioning needs. This allows the cushion to provide targeted relief in some areas and firmer support in others.

The lattice is hydrophobic, airflow-friendly, custom fabricated, and available from either a scan or measurements. It is designed to provide an intimate fit and postural support while offering microclimate and cleaning advantages. Minor field customizations may also be made, and the overall structure can remain intact even if several individual struts are broken.

Verro has a standard delivery target of 14 business days.*

What dimensions are available for Verro?

Verro is available in both Variable-Density Lattice and Dual-Density Foam. Verro Variable-Density Lattice is available in sizes ranging from 14 by 14 inches to 22 by 22 inches. Verro Dual-Density Foam is available in sizes ranging from 14 by 14 inches to 27 by 27 inches.

Available modifications for Verro Variable-Density Lattice include a pre-ischial shelf, posterior lateral pelvic support, medial thigh support, lateral thigh support, scrotal well, left or right leg-length discrepancy accommodation, gluteal extension, front undercut, cane cutouts, sling seat modification, pelvic obliquity build-up, sidewall reinforcement, and an incontinence tray.

Available modifications for Verro Dual-Density Foam include a pre-ischial shelf, posterior lateral pelvic support, medial thigh support, lateral thigh support, scrotal well, left or right leg-length discrepancy accommodation, gluteal extension, front undercut, cane cutouts, and sling seat modification.

What is the maximum weight Verro can accommodate?

Verro Variable-Density Lattice can accommodate users weighing up to 300 pounds. Verro Dual-Density Foam can accommodate users weighing up to 550 pounds.

Verro is coded as an E2609 custom wheelchair seat cushion. Coverage and reimbursement are subject to the applicable E2609 criteria and the individual user’s documentation and coverage requirements. Please review the relevant DME PDAC and CMS guidance for additional information.

 

What is the warranty for Verro?

Verro cushion covers are covered by an 18-month warranty. Both the Verro Variable-Density Lattice cushion and Verro Dual-Density Foam cushion are covered by a 24-month warranty.
