Orbiter Med:
Smart Seating That Moves With You

orbiter-med-lifestyle-2.jpg

Kalogon’s Orbiter Med is an award winning, insurance-coded custom smart wheelchair cushion designed for people who sit for long periods of time and need help protecting their skin, improving comfort, and staying supported throughout the day.

It uses air pressure technology and machine learning to adjust to your body and your sitting needs without constant manual adjustments. Orbiter Med has been clinically proven to help keep blood flowing while seated and provide pressure relief equivalent to a forward-facing offload.

  • Custom Support
Every layer of Orbiter Med is built around your body, support needs, and the way you sit. Personalize the foam base for proper alignment and seated stability through medial thigh supports, leg length discrepancies, residual limb support, and more.

  • Smart Air Pressure
The cushion uses a patent-pending Advanced Air Pressure Management System (APMS) to help manage pressure while you are seated. All five anatomically placed air cells within Orbiter Med can be individually set to the pressure of your choice using the Kalogon App.

  • Movement That Works for You
Throughout the day, those air cells will intuitively inflate and deflate based on how you sit, helping support blood flow and improve posture by maintaining pressure while also performing designated offloads every 2, 3, or 5 minutes.

  • Built for Daily Life
Use preset settings through the Kalogon app for daily activities like eating, transfers, or other routines where your seating needs may change. Read reviews from our users here.

  • Reimbursable Through Insurance
Orbiter Med is reimbursable with insurance, making it easier to work with your provider, clinician, or dealer.
